PEARL KNOTTING WORKSHOP - Sat., Nov. 21 - 9:30 until 11:30 AM
$40.00 fee (due at registration) covers instructions and all materials for making a pearl necklace:  Fresh Water Pearls, silk bead cord, SS or GF bead tips and filigree clasp.  We loan you the tools needed and you should walk out wearing your necklace. MINERAL OF THE MONTH  -  SOUTH CAROLINA BARITE
This Barite was collected years ago at the old McCormick Gold Mine, before it was sealed off for safety reasons.  The collector, who had special permission to go in, donated a specimen to the Smithsonian and sold the remainder to us.  A few specimens have tiny gold flecks.  Prices start at $9.95.

BUYING OLD GOLD - Nov. 14 - 2:30 until 4:30
Ben and Joey, reputable jewelers, will be in the Barn to test your old gold and offer you the best cash price on the spot.  Taking 10K, 14K, all golds and platinum.  This is a one time event.

CARVED BIRDS
These little birds have good detail, approx. 2” high, sitting on a small pyrite chunk.  Select a toucan, pelican, goose, duck, or other...$4.50.

The Orange Calcite electric lamps with the little bulb inside the rock are quite soothing.

DEMOS
During the month of December, Tom will be having a “hands on” demonstration of the Graves Mark 5XL digital faceting machine every Tuesday afternoon and the Inland All-IN-One Lapidary machine every Thursday afternoon.  Stop in and see what YOU can accomplish with these machines.
